  • (NEW:Core) The System::FormatTimeVal action command has been updated to include a value of [local], which simply grabs the local system time.
  • (BUGFIX:UI) Fixed a bug with scroll bars.
  • (BUGFIX:UI) Fixed a bug with the Widget palette and Interface Editor that may prevent them from starting correctly.
  • (NEW:Media) Added 2 new standard media renderer fields to the CQSL, Zoom, TT, Barix, and simulator players.
    1) PBPercent – The percent of the current media that has currently played back. An example use would be with the upcoming Progress Bar widget.
    2) PLItemCnt - The number of items currently in the play list.
  • (NEW:Core) Added new time/date formatting tokens:
    1) %(e) displays the elapsed seconds.
    2) %(E) displays the elapsed minutes
    3) %(S) displays the RAW time stamp value
  • (BUGFIX:File Tag Repository Drvr) The Artist Tag is checked, as well as the Author Tag, in the File Tag Repository.
  • (PERFORMANCE:File Tag Repository) Any leading or trailing whitespace characters are stripped in values and empty values in tags are not stored.

  • (NEW:Weather Channel Drvr) Added a read-only field which contains the Zipcode used during driver configuration.
  • (PERFORMANCE:Zoom Media layer Drvr) Updated the Zoom Player driver to control playlist using CQC’s standard playlist information, opposed to simply loading a playlist and reacting to it as it plays files. This allows 1) standard play modes such as [normal, jukebox, random], 2) the ability to delete playlist items and 3) standardize the driver code.
  • (PERFORMANCE:TheaterTek Media Player Drvr) Updated the TheaterTek Player driver to control playlist using CQC’s standard playlist information, opposed to simply loading a playlist and reacting to it as it plays files. This allows 1) standard play modes such as [normal, jukebox, random], 2) the ability to delete playlist items and 3) standardize the driver code.
  • (PERFORMANCE:Media) Changed all media renderers to consistently use Prev (instead of a mix of Prev and Previous) in their Transport fields. *** see note below
  • (BUGFIX:Lutron HomeWorks Drvr) An issue were the driver will time-out and report as disconnected can occur if a large number of fields have been configured for monitoring was corrected.

NOTE:
* Keep IV events to a minimum, as you’re limited to what you can do.

1) Field writing is not allows from within IV events. This is a precautionary feature due to the consequences of multiple clients writing fields randomly from multiple locations. Keep field writes based on events within the Event Server.

2) Be cautious when looking into fields. User actions must be blocked from input while event actions are running (because that action could at any time interact with the widgets.)

3) IV event actions should generally be used to show an image or update some text and so forth in response to an event.

4) Popups are not yet supported.

This release is the first step towards the IV event processing. Task such as showing or hiding an image, updating text, changing an image shown by a static image, etc. are now possible using the IV event processing engine. Although popups are not supported within this release, hiding/showing attributes of widgets such as overlays can be used to simulate the affect.

** Due to the CurItemTotal field’s change to a Time field, all dynamic text fields set up to look at the CurItemTotal field of media players will now show a number. Make sure all existing and new widgets using the CurItemTotal field is changed to, or using, a Field Time widget.
*** A couple render drivers used Next and Previous in their Transport fields, instead of Next and Prev. These render drivers were changed to be consistent and use Prev. For this beta, no attempt has been made to fix this in the installer. Insure that previous track buttons are using the new Previous value, instead of Prev.
